Bassel Magdi is currently the Youth and experience director at Kasr El-Dobara Evangelical Church and a member of the steering team. His journey of life before knowing Christ made him relatable, genuine, and credible to serve among young adults, not only at the church but around the world. Bassel was raised in Cairo, Egypt, where he currently lives. He is married to Glory Emad and has a son.

 

Bassel earned his bachelor’s degree in law from the French University in Egypt in 2014. He then obtained his master’s degree in law from Sorbonne University in 2015. Finally, he obtained his second master’s in theology in 2024.

 

Bassel decided to become full-time at KDEC in 2016 and has been growing there ever since. One of his central beliefs is that Evangelism and Discipleship are the keys to winning this generation back to Christ. He is passionate about unity among churches and determined to run the race with the body of Christ in Egypt. Bassel’s role as the youth director includes overseeing the teams, youth ministries, and schools. His passion to be involved with this generation has led him to become one of the most influential and successful leaders.
