House of Prayer

Who We Are
The House of Prayer Ministry at Kasr El Dobara Church began in 2001 when the Lord inspired a group of worship leaders in the church about the importance of continuous worship and praise, day and night, believing that God is worthy to be worshiped at all times.

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” (Revelation 4:11)

In obedience to God’s word, a team of worshipers and intercessors was formed for this ministry, and a dedicated space was established within the church to serve the heart of the Lord.

“A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.” (Leviticus 6:13)

The mission of the House of Prayer Ministry in the church is to represent the entire church so that it may first and foremost become a house of prayer for God.

“Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” (Isaiah 56:7)

Our Mission
Our role is to stand in the gap before God for our people and the whole world. This is carried out through 24/7 worship and prayer shifts, interceding to change the reality around us and to fulfill God’s will.

“I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” (Isaiah 62:6-7)

“For out of Zion (the Church) shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations and rebuke many people.” (Isaiah 2:3-4)

We believe that the House of Prayer is a place to carry God’s heart and purposes and a place where divine assignments are received before being sent into the field of ministry.

“But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings.” (Jeremiah 23:22)

Our Goals
- To stand continuously before God in worship and intercession with complete sincerity and skill.
- To train worshipers and intercessors continuously to sustain the 24/7 prayer movement.
- To establish Houses of Prayer across Egypt and the Arab world.

Online Prayer Movement
Because prayer is not confined to a specific room or place and is not limited to a single group, we have established 24/7 online prayer shifts for anyone who wishes to join via Zoom.

Online prayer shifts focus on reading, meditating on, and praying with the Word.
The reading program changes every 14 days.
A daily intercessory prayer program is available, covering prayer requests sent to the church, as well as prayers for global and church-related events.
This service has enabled us to reach distant individuals who lack access to a local church due to special circumstances.

House of Prayer School
An annual school is held for the church community, teaching prayer, worship, and deep connection with the Word of God.
The school also offers a technical dimension for singing and playing various instruments. It spans one full year, structured into four progressive levels of spiritual and artistic education, for those interested in joining the House of Prayer ministry.

House of Prayer’s Role with Other Church Ministries
Encouraging children’s prayer movement by conducting special prayer shifts where children pray alongside parents and Sunday school teachers.
Encouraging junior youth (middle school age) through prayer and intercession workshops, helping them develop a heart for their nation’s salvation at an early age.
Participating in evangelistic caravans for prayer and intercession.
Supporting ministry training teams in different cities and regions to equip prayer leaders who can establish local prayer movements.
Engaging discipleship groups in prayer shifts through online prayer meetings.
