Missions Pastor

Tamer Maher

Mr. Tamer Maher was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He currently holds the position of

Missions Pastor at Kasr El Dobara Evangelical Church and is part of the steering team. Tamer lives in Cairo, is married to Margo, and has two daughters, Sama and Nora.

Tamer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Cairo and graduated in 2006. In 2008, he obtained a diploma in human resources from the American University of Cairo. Tamer later completed his Master’s degree in Theology in 2018.

Before becoming full-time with Kasr El Dobara Evangelical Church, Tamer gained 15 years of experience in Human Resources, specializing in the banking and non-banking financial services sectors. He also served voluntarily as a leader in the Evangelical Youth Association, responsible for equipping and mobilizing university students for the Great Commission for an extended period, which prepared him for his current position at KDEC.
